I have never been a fan of working out. I’m still not really a fan of working out. Sweating, being out of breath, all of that. . .nope nope nope.
The only time I can actually work out is if I go with a partner to a group class or to yoga. If I were to go to the gym by myself, I’d probably just end up walking slowly on the treadmill for thirty minutes while watching an episode of Friends (and not breaking a sweat).
Foodie Fridays: Lamano NYC
When you live in NYC, the brunch options can be endless. There’s a brunch restaurant for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a party brunch (champagne bottles for everyone!), a family brunch, a ridiculously expensive hotel brunch, or your local greasy spoon. I’m sure that even if you went to brunch EVERY weekend of the year, you still wouldn’t be able to go through all the restaurants in NYC. Brunch options are endless and NY’ers get restless.
Nautical With Old Navy
I’ve always been a fan of the nautical look. The navy stripes and linen fabrics have always appealed to me. When I think of the style, I think of bubbly champagne, a nice breeze and relaxing on a sailboat somewhere. While the weather in NYC is not currently the best for any nautical adventures, I can still dream, right?
Double Wide NYC: Foodie Fridays
If you live in NYC, you know the difficulties in trying to find a brunch place without a wait on a Saturday or Sunday. I was hanging out with Derrick on a Sunday morning, around 11:30AM, absolutely starving, and being quoted a 2.5 hour wait at Maharlika (!!!), and with both of our stomachs grumbling in pain, we turned to our trusty Yelp app to try to find another brunch place.
Grandma Chic with Fossil Q
Now that the weather is heading towards frigid, it’s getting a bit harder to dress sexy. The large comfy sweaters have come out, along with the slouchy jeans and huge jackets. To be honest, I’ve been reveling in dressing like a grandma because (1) I’m warm and (2) I’m comfortable.
