Let’s Talk Vitamins || Starting My Wellness Journey
How many of you take your daily vitamins? Growing up, my parents were sticklers about vitamins. When I was in elementary school, I remember my Dad placing a little Flintstones’s vitamin next to my breakfast plate daily. When I was in high school or college, my parents were always trying to sneak vitamin bottles into my bags anytime they saw me. During our phone conversations, my mom always made sure to ask, “Are you taking your vitamins, Nic? Do you want us to get you some more?”.
Snakku July 2017 Review
My favorite activity is snacking and I’m a huge fan of Japanese snack boxes. I love trying out snacks that you wouldn’t normally find in your local Target or deli. The awesome thing about the emergence of all these subscription boxes are that there’s now so many different kinds of snacks made available to you monthly and they’re all so unique!
My Foray Into Korean Food
Facts you may not know about me. . .I live with my in-laws and they’re Korean! Okay, that was fast.
Anyways, I’ve been attempting to cook Korean food for my in laws, particularly my father in law, who generally only eats Korean food. I’ve attempted a few dishes, following recipes to the T.
One of the biggest issues I’ve had has been trying to get all the sauces and ingredients correctly. In case you didn’t know, Korean food focuses a lot on sauces. Whether it’s in a soup, stew, meat dish or even over bibimbap, there’s sauce everywhere.
Bella Vita Wine Bag
I’m almost too excited to share this with you guys so I’m just going to jump right in!
I’ve found the PERFECT bag for summer. Yes, you read that right. Perfect.
Not only is it beautifully nautical with gorgeous rope handles, it can hold TWO bottles of wine.
And by holding 2 bottles of wine, I don’t mean that you place two bottles of wine in the bag. No no no no no. I mean that you can pour two bottles of wine INTO the bag and, using the attached spout, bring it with you to all your summer activities!
Get It Together!
Having a full time job (9-5), going to grad school at night (6-9) and juggling two different blogs can be. . .well, the word insane comes to mind. At any given time, my mind will be running in three different veins; work, school, blog. There are times when I feel like a cartoon character whose head inevitably pops off, followed by a stream of smoke.
